I thought there was absolutely no problem with any shortage of doctors in this country. Hasn't our glorious Government repeatedly assured us of that? So it must be true. We have record numbers of doctors, particularly thanks to the endless stream of brilliant females pouring into the medical profession, who are poised to transform the health of the nation for the better. So why not send a few of them out to Helmand province? The army won't need too many, since each of them is several times better, harder working and more efficient than any mere male. We can even send them up much closer to the front lines, because women have this amazing immunity to bombs and bullets. Am I right in saying that not a single British female soldier has been killed in Afghanistan?

Hey, better still: why not just ensure our forces are all-female in the first place? Then you won't need doctors at all. Those super women will clean out the Taliban in record time without working up a sweat. I have seen it in movies time and again: women are just unbeatable in any kind of fight, and can dispose of hordes of men with one hand tied behind their back.

So there you are. Problem solved.
