Too Many Wrongful Convictions

The wrongful convictions of Donald Marshall Jr., David Milgaard and Guy Paul Morin have spotlighted what many call the failure of the Canadian justice system.

Advocates say many convicts who were ultimately exonerated watched their applications languish for years in the federal review board.


+ An Ontario man who spent 12 years in prison for the 1993 death of his four-year-old niece was acquitted by a provincial court on Monday.

In an opening statement, Crown prosecutor Ken Campbell said six "world renowned experts" found there was "no evidence of homicide and no evidence of sexual injury"

funny its being noticed,but getting someone to help,clear this terriable misscarriage of justice up,is another thing.five years in prison for a crime i did not commit.media turn thier backs,officals deny,lie,deny.its one sad land when our charter of rights,law,are ignored,to cover police abuse,assaults,forced cavity searches,to motor accidents.what is saskatchewan,doing.needing help.wteed@hotmail.com
